A fun week with MFT Camp Create 2019

I had so much fun creating cards for MFT's Camp Create 2019. There was a challenge each day for five days and cute badges to earn along the way. I cannot think of a better camp than one that consists of paper and all things crafty.

Day 1: Wonderful Watercolor
For this challenge I created a card using MFT's I Knead You stamp set. I made a watercolor background by cutting the word hello out of vinyl on my Cricut and then water coloring over the vinyl. I also used watercolors on the cute little kitten.

Day 2: Remarkable Resist

This time I used the adorable MFT stamp set, Rain or Shine. I stamped and embossed a shower of hearts in the background and then used watercolor over the top for the resist. I can't find my anti-static tool so I couldn't get a clean embossed sentiment. I added some metallic paint splatters to kind of mask it but I think it only made it look messy.

 Day 3: Spectacular Shakers
I had a blast creating this card. I was inspired by all the Christmas in July cards and figured getting at least one Christmas card done this early would be great. You see I like to wait til the last minute to get things completed. Anyway, on to the card. I used MFT's Beast Friends stamp set. I pulled the little Charlie Brown tree from another stamp set. I also stamped the sky inside of the snowglobe with snowflakes and embossed them with glitter embossing powder. I filled the inside of the shaker with micro beads and sequins.

Day4: Sensational Sliders
To complete this challenge I used MFT's Hog Heaven stamp set. I just love all the cute little pigs. I used Arches watercolor paper for the first time and I have to say I am in love. The colors blend so smoothly on the paper. My idea for this card was a whimsical hog heaven. I fussy cut the pigs after coloring and added Stickles to the wings. I used distress inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper to create the cloud background. One of the sweet little pigs is connected to a pull tab. Pull the tab and he flies out from behind one of the clouds.

Day 5: Glitzy Glitter
I used the stamp set Penguins in Paradise by MFT for this card. I used distress inks to create the background. Then I used Rangers Embossing Pen in my Cricut to create the Hello. I cut the word Summer with my Cricut and glued several together to make it pop off the paper. The penguins and sand were colored with water colors. I added a small amount of glitter to the cool penguins sunglasses. the penguins popsicle and on the word summer.
